HON is a dual attenuverter and offset with individual outputs for attenuverted (out) and offset (fin) outs. The input on channel 1 is normalled to channel 2 to give you an extra copy to bring your sonic experiments into unrealized domains. One thing I had realized in my own personal modular journey is that you cannot have enough attenuverters in your rack. The controls have a slight exponential gain on both sides of the attenuverter, and linear contol on offsets.
Use it to duck your audio, offset a gate to find the perfect amount of resonance for your filter, control the modules that only give you attenuators, mirror a copy of a gate output, hit those modules with a +5v for a total of +/-12v offset on both channels to achieve what you can't with 5v alone.
